Flow rate, particle retention and the characteristics of a surface treatment additive will dictate which type of filter is most appropriate. Ground calcium carbonate filtration should occur at offloading in receiving, out of the storage tank(s), and immediately before use.
Due to higher flow rates in the receiving area, we typically recommend the DCF Mechanically-Cleaned Filter Systems or a MAX-LOAD Bag and Cartridge Filter System.
Filtration should also occur at a surface treatment additive's point of use. For ground calcium carbonate we recommend the DCF Mechanically-Cleaned Filter Systems or a MAX-LOAD Bag and Cartridge Filter System.
