Corrosion control and deposit formation control are the goals for filtration of heat exchanger water. As solids build up on surfaces, corrosion products form to reduce operating efficiency.

Fouling problems can be reduced with chemicals but not eliminated without filtration of suspended solids. For heat exchanger water, we typically recommend the AFR-Series Backwashing Pressure Filter Systems.
