This number should appear on the package being returned as well as any accompanying paper work.

European Community
Return Merchandise Authorization Procedure

A supplier shipping hazardous material within the European Community must attach a safety data sheet (SDS) or "toxicological" data sheet from CRAM (French Social Security Office in charge
of medical insurance) to the package.

This report is the responsibility of the shipper.

Hazardous criteria depends on the country of arrival.

There is no standard SDS form in France, but the data sheet must be issued in French,

1. Identification of the chemical product and of the natural or moral person in charge of it's putting up on the market
2. Information regarding the components, especially their concentration or their concentration range necessary for hazard estimate
3. Identification of hazards
4. Description of emergency aid if any
5. Steps to be taken in case of fire
6. Steps to be taken in case of incidental dispersion
7. Storage, use and handling cautions
8. Procedures for controlling exposure of workers and characteristics of suitable safety individual equipment
9. Physiochemical characteristics
10. Stability and reactivity of the product
11. Toxicological information
12. Eco toxicological information
13. Possibilities of waste elimination
14. Information regarding the transport
15. Regulation information especially regarding product grading and labeling
16. All other available information pertaining to the safety or health of workers

As in the US, the product must be cleaned before shipment to the French manufacturing locations and the type of materials processed during its use should be indicated in the return paperwork. This enables us to seek advice from CRAM regarding toxicity (Toxicity data sheet) if necessary.
