The quality of water from wells, lakes, rivers, streams or the local water utility varies significantly by source and over time. Debris content in river or lake water is affected by spring runoff or turbulence caused by storms.
Well waters offer changing sediment levels. At the same time, the flow of intake water must generally be kept at high levels.
Depending on the degree of cleanliness of the lake water, we typically recommend the AFR-Series Backwashing Pressure Filter System as a stand alone system or as part of a staged filtration system in combination with our
MAX-LOAD Cartridge Filter Systems.
