Any pigment or micro particle that is received dry, and then dispersed into a slurry, should be filtered before it is stored.
If used right after dispersion, then it is very important to optimize the dispersion equipment to avoid insufficient wetting of the dry material. A filter will remove undispersed agglomerates. A filter removing too many agglomerates is an indication the make-down procedures should be examined.
Due to higher flow rates in the receiving area,we typically recommend AFR Backwashing Filters, DCF Mechanically Cleaned Filters, or the MAX-LOAD Bags and Cartridges.
