We offer the Ronningen-Petter brand REACTOGARD™ filter system with ACCUFLUX™ elements
for fixed-bed reactor applications and fixed bed catalyst protection systems.
Fixed-bed reactors require catalyst change-out cycles every 12 to 24 months. The change-out
interval can be significantly reduced when particulate that settles in the catalyst bed causing premature differential pressure buildup while the catalyst is still active.
You
can achieve increased run times between filter cleaning cycles by filtering the feedstock
with REACTOGARD™
catalyst bed filter system and ACCUFLUX® elements at low flux
rates.
Operating at a low flux rate allows cake formation on the media. The filter cake improves
the feedstock filtrate quality by trapping many particles smaller than the rated micron
retention of the media.
It also exponentially improves backwash cycle time and solids concentration,
while improving media regeneration. In addition, this allows feed upsets to be handled with
no adverse effect to the catalyst bed.
This will extend reactor catalyst life, while allowing
more dense loading and/or smaller catalyst loading, increasing time between change outs.
