Flow rate, particle retention and the characteristics of the additive will dictate which type of filter is most appropriate. Polymers filtration should occur at offloading in receiving, out of the storage tank(s), and immediately before application.
Due to higher flow rates in the receiving area, we typically recommend the DCF Self-Cleaning Filter System or a MAX-LOAD Bag and Cartridge Filter System.
Filtration should also occur at an additive's point of use. For this specific application, we recommend the DCF Self-Cleaning Filter Systems and MAX-LOAD Bag and Cartridge Filter Systems.
